First heard of your fight on WDAY last week and enjoyed listening to the callers. 100% in favor of leaving you alone. Just heard about your web page, and enjoyed looking at the pictures! Good Luck. -- Warren and Arleen

I just looked at your website, and applaud your efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle! I think it's great, keep up the good fight! -- Kathy

Great idea--Some of those liberal officials can't stand to have any one with a little "smarts" doing something they did not think of. -- Max

Instead of harassing farmers like you that are recycling, they should be patting you on the back. I wish you the best of luck. This man is utilizing something that would otherwise be laying in a landfill or laying in overfilled dumpsters or just laying around.. Look how many years he has been doing this and nothing bad has happened. He is doing no harm and STILL the state of North Dakota won't let him be. The state won't leave this man alone till his farm ends up on an auction block and another farmer bites the dust. -- Larinda

People have too much time on their hands. I cannot see how putting tires into a landfill is a better scenario than building something with them. "Recycling" them is a relative term, because this fence of yours IS recycling. -- Jeff

I viewed your website and think it looks nice and orderly and should be of no harm to anyone.I do no think tires are a hazard to the atmosphere unless they are burned. If they give off something that is hazardous, then I guess we need to take them off all of our vehicles too. its no more hazardous then CRP of which the government pays for which is a real fire hazard.I am not so sure that the tires would even get started burning if there was a grass fire as it takes a while for the rubber to get started and I am sure as fast as the grass burns,it would be burned out before the rubber got started.I guess if they feel its a problem, all the wood and buildings are a hazard too as its all susceptable to fire if one starts. -- Marvin

hey i was watchin on the news about your ranch its crappy what the government thinks but you cant let them beat you i would fight till you win and also what an amazing job you have done keep it up and win the fight man dont give up -- Robert

There is no environmental hazard, tire structures have been used in fish ponds including those for trout---the most sensitive fish to environmental pollution. -- Stuart

It was very interesting to see your ingenuity on the fencing project and I agree!!, a grand idea. I do believe that instead of disposing of your idea, it should be worked with as it would be a grand idea to help with the huge problem of unwanted used tires. I applaud your efforts to continue with this idea and wish you much luck in getting it through some thicker thinking heads. God bless you and the whole family for being so creative. -- Grannyanne

The problem is with some people, is that they hate to have others who think of great ideas, and they are not the center of attention. Keep up the great work. This is one Iowan that gives you a real pat on the back. God Bless You and Keep You. -- Tom

This is just amazing. How the government can destroy a man and his farming business. I cannot imagine what kind of government authorities we have. They do not comprehend this destroying of a persons living. -- Dennis

After viewing your photo album and seeing all the tires you've put to good use in your agriculture operation and more importantly, since no one wants used tires (in fact, one has to pay tire outlets if you want them to keep old tires after getting new ones) I would like to say "more power to you". -- Darwin

Great Job with the fence. Fight it to the end and Best of Luck. -- Luke & Sadie

It looks to me that you have thoroughly done your homework and you know what you are doing. Your ranch looks organized, well maintained and that your fences are doing what they are supposed to do. And the issue about the mosquitoes and fire. What kind of person would want to endanger their family in such a way? From what I have read, you are not that kind of person. I live in the middle of town, and the mosquitoes here are terrible! I'll bet you have less mosquitoes than we do. I am praying to the good Lord above that you win your case with the next judge. God Bless you all. -- Joyce
